Abstract
Fungal infection of paranasal sinuses appears to be relatively rare in occurance, but the incidence of fungal sinusitis is increasing, which may be due to the increasing use of antibiotics, steroid hormones, anticancer drugs and increased
survival
of
diabetes mellitus patients and development of accurate diagnostic methods. From October, 1989 to January, 1992 of total 3360 cases of endoscopic surgery in ENT Dept. of Koryo General Hospital, 28 cases of fungal sinusitis which was diagnosed by
systemic
nasal endoscopy and CT were treated successfully by endoscopic surgery.
